Luke Grimes comes from a family with three children: Racheal Grimes (his sister), Abby Grimes (her brother), and Seth Grimes. His family was extremely religious and conservative. He graduated from Dayton Christian High School. Luke, who graduated high school in the year 2002 relocating into New York City where he followed his dream to become an actor. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in which he studied acting for two years. In order to improve his musical skills, he also studied guitar as well as singing.
